The Journal of KSMPE was first published by KSMPE since August 30, 2002. Since then the journal is published on the last day of every month 12 times per year and reached more than 1500 members internationally.

The scope of the Journal includes the areas of machining, special machining, precision machining, ultraprecision machining, machine tools, plasticity, mold machining, injection molding, production automation, welding, control mechatronics, design and CAE, tribology, and other subjects pertaining in manufacturing technology

한국기계가공학회지는 사단법인 한국기계가공학회에서 발간하는 학술지로서 2002년 8월 30일 창간호를 발간한 후 연 12회 발행되고 있으며, 그 월 말일에 발간되며, 국내외 약 1500여명의 회원들에게 배부되고 있다.

한국기계가공학회지의 투고분야는 절삭가공, 특수가공, 정밀가공, 초정밀가공, 공작기계, 소성가공, 금형가공, 사출성형, 생산자동화, 용접, 제어메카트로닉스, 설계 및 CAE, 트라이볼러지, 생산제조기술의 범주에 포함되는 기타 분야이다.
